Airsoft BB Guns
Airsoft is a combat game in which players try to defeat the opposition by launching 6mm plastic balls, called airsoft BBs, at them. Airsoft BBs of a particual size come in weights varying from 0.12 to 0.43gm.
Apart from the normal plastic airsoft BBs, steel BBs are also available. Steel BBs are generally 4.5mm in diameter. Graphite-coated, metal-coated and starch-based BBs are also available in the market. The latter are biodegradable.
In countries outside Japan, airsoft BBs of diameters other than 6mm and materials other than plastic or biodegradable, are not generally used. BBs with weights other than 0.12gm, 0.20gm or 0.25gm are also not normally used outside Japan.
For shooting 0.43gm airsoft BBs, a player will require an effective airsoft gun. Upgrading the power of an existing gun will also prove fruitful. As a matter of fact, all heavier airsoft BBs give good results when powerful or upgraded airsoft weapons are used. Airsoft sniper rifles are the best weapons for using heavier airsoft BBs.
Special devices are available, that can charge the airsoft BBs by lighting them with a sudden blaze of ultra-violet shimmer. This enables the BBs to glare during the night events, thus allowing the airsoft players to trace the BBs in the dark.
One of the best airsoft BBs in the market, are the Stinger BBs. They are smooth and ground and can be utilized in many gas pistols and electric rifles. They are 0.20gm in weight and possess very good quality. Their reasonable prices impress buyers.
