Airsoft pistols
Airsoft pistols are comparatively harmless airsoft weapons. These shoot the rounds of plastic or paintball at medium speeds. Airsoft pistols are common favorites for many airsoft hobbyists.
These pistols have a wide range of styles, calibers and models.
The three principal types of airsoft pistols are:
Electric Airsoft Pistols
Electric airsoft pistols are one of the sophisticated versions of airsoft weapons. They use a spring to trigger off the ammunition. They have a battery-driven mechanism that automatically sets the spring. This automated system yields much better results in comparison with other airsoft weapons that use manual springs.
Spring Airsoft Pistols
These are the simplest of, all airsoft pistols. They utilize a mechanical spring, which needs to be set manually by the player each and every time before shooting. These pistols are available in many varieties ranging from cheap, plastic variants to expensive, metal models. The latter bear a close resemblance to real firearms. Spring airsoft pistols are the least expensive among all other types of airsoft pistols. Moreover, they do not need refilling of batteries or gas.
Gas Airsoft Pistols
Gas airsoft pistols are the least fanciful of all airsoft pistols available. They can also boast of having the maximum power. They are generally the most expensive of the airsoft pistols. These pistols utilize Carbon-di-Oxide chambers or green gas canisters to force the ammunition through the air. The gas blowback pistol or GBB is the most popular of the gas airsoft pistols. A GBB has a recoiling mechanism that imparts a post-firing real-life effect of ammunition discharge.
